Emilio "Max" Cerci is a graduate from Hofstra University with a BFA in Theater Arts with a concentration in Directing and Light Design.
Max Cerci currently works as a producer's assistant to Hunter Arnold at TBD Theatricals. Max is a socially and politically charged director and light designer based in New York. Some of his favorite projects include experimentation with Augusto Boal's "Theater of the Oppressed," Jan-Claude Van Itallie's "America Hurrah," Sarah Kane's 4.48 Psychosis, La MaMa's Puppet Slam and a summer with Boston's leading LGBTQ theater company, The Theater Offensive. His objective is to continue to blur the lines between spectator and actor as he and those participating experiment, activate, and educate one another with progressive and socially charged theater.
